Rates of domestic abuse in the UK remain consistently high, with young people at the greatest risk of experiencing it – either as victims or perpetrators. LMK works tirelessly to change that.
We offer a prevention programme against domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault that equips young people to have healthy relationships during their teen years, but also embeds behaviours and expectations that are carried through into adult life. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve achieved since we launched in 2020.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
I was impressed…one of the LMK Leaders went our of their way…to offer guidance to a pupil that was seeking advice on how to navigate a difficult relationship. They definitely went the extra mile to ensure all the pupil’s questions were answered.

You should feel comfortable with setting boundaries with your partner and feel secure.

I learnt you shouldn’t stay with someone if you think you’re in an unhealthy relationship.

Since the workshop, I’ve definitely seen them using what they learned in real life. They’ll come to me and tell me something happened, and how they responded – they know better what they should accept and what they shouldn’t. It’s really opened their eyes.
