Melody Powell is a 23-year-old Queer/Pansexual Disabled Woman (She/They). She uses an electric wheelchair due to her physical disability and has also been diagnosed with OCD. Her experience growing up as a Queer Disabled person who never felt she belonged has made her passionate about fighting for Inclusion, Diversity and representation. Melody currently works with ALLFIE (Alliance for Inclusive Education) to help improve mainstream education for Disabled Young People, as well as working freelance to promote Disabled visibility in the mainstream world.
